Websites for local businesses
I build sites for independent businesses — cafes, salons, tradespeople, consultancies — that do more than sit there. Visitors get their questions answered and can book an appointment without you lifting the phone.

What I offer
Most small-business sites are a digital business card — a name, some hours, a phone number. These do more, without you needing to touch a line of code.
Featured work
Sable & Moss is a demo I built for a fictional boutique hair salon to show the full package working end to end — it isn't a live client, it's the reference build every project starts from.
Built to show what a client actually receives: a real design identity, not a template, plus the two features that turn a brochure site into a working front-of-house.
How it works
You approve the design before anything goes live — no surprises, no site you didn't sign off on.
A short call about your business — services, prices, tone, and what you actually need customers to be able to do on the site.
I design and build the full site — including the chat concierge and booking flow — and send you a private link to review.
You give feedback, I make changes. This goes back and forth until it's actually right, not just finished.
The site goes live on your domain. I stay on for fixes and small updates after launch — you're not on your own the day after.
Why work with a studio just starting out
I'm early — the case study above is the honest starting point. Here's what that actually means for you.
Nothing launches without your sign-off. You see the full site in review before it ever reaches a customer.
The quote from the discovery call is the price you pay — no hourly billing, no surprise invoice at the end.
No account manager, no handoff between departments — you're talking to the person actually writing the code.
What you saw in the Sable & Moss demo isn't a mockup of what I could build — it's the actual foundation every project starts from.
Questions
Foundation and Standard sites are typically live within 2 weeks of the discovery call. Complete builds take closer to 3, since the chatbot needs briefing and testing.
No. You approve designs over email or a call, I handle the build, hosting setup, and domain connection.
Yes — both can be added after launch rather than committing to the full build upfront. See the full FAQ →
Let's work together
Send a few lines about your business and what you'd want the site to do — I'll reply with a fixed quote and a rough timeline, usually within a couple of days.
